Bio
Music producer, drummer and percussionist, Maarten Stenakur is a lover of music and film from around the world. Drawing inspiration from traditional musics and movie soundtracks, he creates music which seeks to evoke memories, feelings and imagery of one's imagination.
With a background as a performer of rock, latin, reggae, jazz, alt-country, and electronic music Australia wide, Maarten moved to the Victorian countryside in 2014 and started focusing on creating a solo catalogue of music from his home studio.
Since this time Maarten has released 3 EPs, 3 Singles and a music video. He continues to work on new releases as well as continuing his passion for, and love of, hybrid acousto-electric drumming.
